Theme of the Week: Black & White

I've gathered some great examples of contemporary art during the past 2 weeks, and I can't wait to show them to my significant lack of followers. This week is short, so there'll only be a few examples of this theme, but next week will be chock-a-block with pictures!Any picture that is black & white has a fantastic appeal to it. There's a different emotion and expression, and a certain balance too which is not as easily discovered when using color. One artist who shows this is Juli Jah, whose watercolor paintings look like something out of a Pirates of the Carribean film. Her techniques are mesmerising, and her other work is equally beautiful.
